RIP, Hunter. You were known by many, but understood by few. You will be missed.

Hunter S. Thompson was one of my favorite authors. My first personal email address was in fact an homage to him (hst2@[yaddayaddayadda].com). I was very sad to hear about his passing. Hopefully some young, inspired journalist will take up his commentary on the state of our nation, its politics, and our culture. So what message can we take from his unfortunate demise? How about this: GUNS and DRUGS do not mix.
I'm a Kalamazoo native and a graduate of Western Michigan University. (Go Broncos!)
I've had a passion for the game of hockey for as long as I can remember, and thanks to my wife, I have a passion for life, as well.
We have two beautiful sons, and she is the best thing ever to happen to me.
